Privacy Policy

Payana is a managed vision intelligence service operated by Baaz (“Payana”, “we”, “us”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. It applies to payana.ai and to the Payana product and services.

1. Information we collect

• Account information. When you create an account or sign in (including via Google sign-in), we receive your name, email address, and basic profile information.
• Content you provide. Images, video, wearable-camera footage, and related files you upload for annotation, plus any instructions, labels, or metadata you supply.
• Usage data. Basic technical and usage information (device/browser type, IP address, pages viewed, actions taken) used to operate and secure the service.
• Communications. Information you share when you book a call, contact us, or correspond with our team.

2. How we use information

• To provide the annotation service and deliver your datasets.
• To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the service.
• To communicate with you about your projects, support, and updates.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

3. Your content and ownership

Your uploaded content and the annotations and datasets produced from it are yours. We process them solely to provide the service to you. We do not sell your content, we do not use it to train third-party or general-purpose AI models, and it is never placed in a public or shared dataset pool.

4. How we store and secure data

Content is stored on dedicated cloud infrastructure (Amazon Web Services). We use private storage buckets behind CloudFront Origin Access Control, an isolated processing environment, encryption in transit, and short-lived, presigned URLs for downloads. Access is restricted to authorized personnel and systems that need it to deliver the service.

5. Sharing and disclosure

We share information only with: (a) infrastructure and service providers (such as cloud hosting) that process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations; and (b) authorities where required by law or to protect rights and safety. We do not sell personal information.

6. Data retention

We retain your content for as long as needed to deliver your project and for the period agreed in your engagement. Unless a different period is set out in your contract, we delete or anonymize your content within 90 days of project completion. You may request deletion of your content at any time (see “Your rights”).

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing (for example under GDPR or CCPA). To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@baaz.pro.

8. Cookies

We use only the cookies and similar technologies necessary to run the site and keep you signed in. We do not use them for third-party advertising.

9. International transfers

We operate internationally and may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, we put appropriate safeguards in place for such transfers.

10. Children

The service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
